Biblical Prophecy, The End Times and Global Events Within a Biblical Prophetic Framework
Satan has often sought to rule the world, but Jesus Christ is the only one fit do so according to what the Bible has articulated thoroughly in the books of Daniel and Revelation. In this series we will delve into several aspects of the end times such as the Rapture, the Tribulation Period, and the Millennial Reign. In doing so, we will look at the biblical prophecies written that relate to things prior to, during, and after those important Biblical events. We will examine the application of the scriptures to our time, and how it relates to global events and trends that are in line with these biblical prophecies. We will first investigate the following end-time themes: Global Governance, Global Religion, and Global Dictatorship. Then we will assess how these concepts, which appear to be new, are indeed old and driven by the ‘Accuser of the Brethren’ who is Satan himself.
Furthermore, we will explore the old attempts at one world governance listed in the bible, then we will tie it to our current day events and biblical prophecies of things that will happen in the distant and not so distant future. We will examine Nimrod’s attempt at global governance, Lucifer’s fall from heaven, the transfer of power to Adam, Satan’s goal to rule humanity and Satan’s attempt to tempt Jesus Christ.
Then we will examine the rapture, the 70th Week as referred to in Daniel (i.e. the 7-year Tribulation Period), the Antichrist, the False Prophet, the Beast and the Millennial Reign. In the build up to the Tribulation Period, we will look into Satan’s current plan to rule the word. We will dive into the methods that he has used and continue to employ, the nations, peoples, organizations, institutions, empires, and various means to carry out his plan. His ultimate plan is to deceive the masses and lead as many as possible down the broad road of destruction. The books of Daniel, Revelation and Genesis will be the primary focus for this series, but scriptures from the major prophets, minor prophets and New Testament will also be referenced.
